I am Assistant Professor of Sustainable Business Management of Natural Resources in the Department of Wood Science and Faculty of Forestry at UBC where I run the Business, Sustainability and Technology Lab. I am also affiliated with the Environmental Governance Lab at the University of Toronto, the Earth System Governance Project and the United Nations Forum on Sustainability Standards.

My research interests include sustainable production, eco-labeling, transnational governance, corporate social responsibility, and the impact of digital technologies on the environment.

My work has been published in Business Strategy and the Environment, Ecological Economics, Global Environmental Politics, Global Environmental Change, Organization & Environment, Review of International Studies, Review of International Political EconomyRegulation & Governance, and Business and Politics.
